The Early Birds Breakfast Club is run by Fairfield and Colneis schools as a self-funded, non-profit making organisation. The club is open to school-age children from both Fairfield and Colneis Schools and is held in the school hall at Fairfield Infant School during term time from 8 – 9am, Monday to Friday. It offers a range of age appropriate play activities and serves a nutritious breakfast each day.

Two members of staff involved in the running of the club organise a ‘walking bus’, and walk the Colneis children up to Colneis Junior School in time for the start of the school day. The Fairfield children join their classmates in time for registration.

Cost

It costs £3.75 per child, per a session. Children can attend for any number of sessions in the week. If your child is eligible for free school meals please contact Mrs Winton in the school office to discuss payment arrangements.

Payment Arrangements

We ask that Breakfast Club is paid in advance using Parentmail.  Your child’s breakfast club balance can be managed in the accounts section of your ParentMail app.

Applying for a place

If you would like your child to attend Breakfast Club, please contact Fairfield Office on 01394 283206. A copy of the application form can be found here for your information Application and Food Preference form however an online application will need to be completed prior to your child’s first visit. Once you have registered online, they can use the provision when required.
