Fairfield and Colneis uniform can be ordered quickly and simply through our new uniform supplier, PMG Schoolwear. Uniform can be ordered directly from their website or by visiting their shop located in Ipswich town centre. PMG supply uniform for over 800 schools and we have full confidence that you will be happy with their service and the quality of their uniform.  The price list for each school are below.  If you have any questions or require any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at either school.

Please be aware that there is no obligation to purchase school uniform from PMG and parents are able to purchase any item in accordance with the uniform requirements from any outlet they choose.

Both schools also hold a range of second-hand uniforms that are available for parents to acquire.  Please contact the relevant school office for information.

Parents will still be able to purchase any remaining stock that we have available at either school via ParentMail until it has sold out.

Due to the high levels of Colneis P.E T shirts that we have in stock at Colneis, they are not yet available via the PMG website so parents should continue to purchase them via ParentMail until further notice.

Please note any parents eligible for additional funding can only purchase funded uniform through the school offices.

We want the children in our schools to look well dressed and feel proud of their uniform.  On their designated PE days, children should come to school in their PE kit, and this should also comply with the uniform expectation below.

Colneis Uniform (Year 3—Year 6)

• Plain navy sweatshirt or cardigan
• White shirt/polo shirt
• Dark grey knee-length skirt or pinafore dress, tailored shorts or trousers
• Blue and white gingham dress (in summer)
• Plain grey, white or navy socks
• Plain dark coloured low heeled shoes or ankle boots (not trainers)
• Plain blue or black shorts and a house coloured t-shirt and plimsolls/trainers for PE.  In colder months, tracksuit bottoms and the school jumper or a plain blue/black sweatshirt may also be worn
• Swimming hat (in house colours)*

For art and design lessons, children will need an overall or apron – an old shirt will do – to protect their clothing.

Please remember to name all your child’s clothing, including shoes.

Please note that make up (including nail varnish) and transfers should not be worn in school under any circumstance.

Jewellery and Hairstyling

Children should not wear jewellery at school. Children who have pierced ears should wear sleepers with flat studs on the back and must remove them when taking part in PE lessons. Teachers cannot take responsibility for the removal and safekeeping of earrings. If you are considering having your child’s ears pierced please could you arrange to do so at the beginning of the school holidays so that the earrings can be removed for PE and swimming when the children return in September. All shoulder length/long hair must be tied back for PE.  We request that patterns are not shaved into hair as this is inappropriate for school.
